The Ferrari legend began in 1902 with Giulio Ferrari, and his dream of making a wine in Trentino that could compete with the best French Champagnes. Giulio was a pioneer; he was the first to plant significant quantities of Chardonnay in Italy. He began producing a few bottles of highly selected wine, with an obsessive attention to quality. The third generation of the Lunelli family keeps the Ferrari dream alive. Marcello, Matteo, Camilla and Alessandro lead the company with the aim of combining innovation and tradition and taking Ferrari around the world as ambassadors of the Italian Art of Living. They have a deep connection with the territory and respect for the land. All Ferrari wines are Trento Doc and are produced exclusively from grapes grown at high altitude in Trentino with sustainable farming methods.
